Total Body Yoga Block Workout

You've probably seen these at your gym and yoga studio and never really knew what they were supposed to do. Yoga blocks are a fantastic tool that you can use in your yoga classes, but they can be used for much more than yoga. Yes, they are a wonderful tool to aid in stretching. But today I am going to show you how you can use a yoga block to tone your whole body! This workout will require balance and core strength, and it will challenge your legs and arms a lot!

You can choose to follow the video below or print out the circuit to do at your own pace!

Complete one round of the following circuit:
* Do exercises 4-6 all on one leg before switching

1. Balance (30 seconds each leg)
2. Side squat to balance (15 reps each leg)
3. Plank with hands on block (30 seconds)
4. Oil rig (10 reps each leg)
5. Back lunge to balance (10 reps each leg)
6. Lunge pulses (15 reps each leg)
7. Mountain climber touches (20 reps)
8. Calf raises (20 reps)
9. Curtsy lunges (10 reps each leg)
10. Resistance chest press (15 reps)
11. Resistance shoulder press (15 reps)
12. Chest pulses (30 reps)
13. Elbow fly (15 reps)
14. Feet on block push-up (10 reps)
15. Dead bug (30 second hold)
16. Dead bug reaches (15 reps each side)
17. Block pass (10 full passes)
18. Narrow push-up (10 reps)
